What Is CBR

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) is a strategy with in general community development for rehabilitation, equalization of opportunities and social inclusion of all people with disabilities. Approximately two decades have passed since the concept of Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR) was presents as a strategy for improving the lives of people with disabilities. BUT, despite the progress made in the past two decades, there are still MILLIONs of people with disabilities do not receive basic rehabilitation services and are not participating equally in school, work, or social activities. CBR promotes Human Rights.
